Is What Women About! (Part 1)

A female body is so astonishing, shocking & most of the time a blessing.

Dear Girls, “You can never get bored out of your routine, because, all throughout your life; IT’S NEVER SET.”

• Till puberty, everything is happy to go lucky: but then childhood ends and from no-where we suddenly grow up.

• A girl draining out blood every month from her body is not a joke right. Menstruation, Periods, Chumps and what not, code words are used , as if it’s a hideous crime which needs to be hidden; followed by abdominal cramps, pimples, mood swings & those 8 hourly rules of changing sanitary pads which we can not escape.

But wait Girls; Do not pity yourself.

Because after spending almost a decade or more in this monthly pain cycle; We do have few options;

(a) Irregular periods/ PCOD; which are seen in almost 80% of females, giving you constant worry of either unplanned pregnancy or Infertility.

Or

(b) Congratulations;

You are Pregnant.

But here too the consequences are a bit not so accepting; because it’s accompanied by morning sickness, baggy attires to cover your baby bump, giddiness, hungry all the time, peeing all the time, fatigue etc.

At the end of those 9 months; you again get options but as you know we are not at the choosing end.

(a) Normal delivery: Bearing 12 hours or even more of unbearable pain & a cut over your perineum to enlarge your vaginal opening to deliver your baby.

(b) Cesarean section: Getting your abdomen cut in layers and extracting your baby.

I am still not done ladies;

Postoperative pain in all possible postures, difficulty in your natural calls, bloating etc. and while dealing with it, you have to breastfeed your baby every 2 hourly.

Trust me people, I had 2 cesarean deliveries, and it’s not at all easy.

But that is what amazing about a female body is.

PCOD/Infertility is just a name as we do not keep a count of injections or medications included in our regime. So patience and hope is what women about.

9months of struggle makes us more strong and connected to the little one. So selfless love is what women about.

Don’t know from where this daddy’s princess gathers the strength and is all set to grab motherhood from the very next second of delivering a baby. So maturity and adaptability is what women about.

Even in immense pain post surgery, she makes no lack in being punctual while feeding her baby, So nurturing and taking responsibility is what women about.

God has given such immense power to women that they can bear all pains, struggles and fight fears: May be that’s the reason why women are considered goddesses.

• So, Why dont we treat them as one?
• Why are there constant questions on their capabilities?
• Why doubt their decisions?

Its said that ” Nothing teaches us better than our own experience.”

So tell me; Who can be more experienced of:

STRENGTH,

WISDOM,

LOVE,

PATIENCE,

NURTURE,

HOPE,

RESPONSIBILITIES &

COURAGE, other than a women.

I am proud to be a women and dignified of giving birth to one.

Arrival of Khwahish was no less than a festival for us.

so the celebration also was no less than welcoming a goddess, she was welcomed with rose petal shower, blessings with aarti & kumkum tilak.

taking imprint of her feet on the white cloth with kumkum & keeping it in my locker, itself is the sign that her arrival is “Aagman of Goddess Laxmi”

It is our duty as a mother to make our daughter understand their worth.

As “Feminism isn’t about making women strong; because my dear, WOMEN ARE ALREADY STRONG. its about changing the way the world perceived that strength
